The short version

We keep only what we need to sell you a license, activate your Macs and support you. Your announcements, recordings and schedules never leave your Mac. We don't sell or share your information, and this site has no ads, analytics or tracking.

What we keep

• Your email address and organization name, to send your license key, receipts, renewal notices and sign-in links, and to answer you.
• For each activated Mac: the name you gave it, a one-way code made from its hardware ID (it can't be turned back into the ID), when it was activated, and the app version.
• Payment records from Stripe: what you bought, when, and your Stripe customer and subscription numbers. Not your card details.
• Internet (IP) addresses of requests to this server, kept 90 days to stop abuse, then removed.

What we don't keep

• Your card or bank details. Stripe takes the payment; see Stripe's privacy policy.
• Anything about your announcements, schedules, recordings or events.

When the app contacts us

• Once, to activate a Mac.
• When you deactivate a Mac.
• To check for a renewed plan: at launch and once a day, only while the Mac is in Standby and online. You can turn this off in Settings ▸ License.
• If you use iPhone access from off the venue's Wi-Fi, the Mac connects to our relay and shows it your license file. The relay passes along only encrypted messages between your Mac and your phones; it can't read them and keeps nothing.

Cookies

This site sets two cookies, only when you use these pages, and only for this purpose: one for about an hour after you start a purchase (so the thank-you page can show your key), and one for 30 minutes after you sign in to Manage. No other cookies, and none from other companies.

Who sees it

Only Leading Edge Integration LLC. Email is sent from our own mail server. Payments are handled by Stripe. Our server is in the United States. We don't sell or share your information, and we disclose it only if the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

While your license exists, and afterwards as long as tax and accounting law requires (usually 7 years for purchase records). IP addresses: 90 days.

Your choices

• Erase your email address: email us and we'll remove it everywhere. Your license keeps working; we just can't email you any more.
• See or correct what we have: email us, or sign in on the Manage page.
• Stop renewal checks: Settings ▸ License ▸ Check for renewals automatically.

Children

Easy Event Paging is sold to organizations, not to children, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change this page in a way that matters, we'll post the new version here and email you.
